Job Creation Responsibility
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that no new manufacturing jobs were created in April, 2013. President Obama’s goal was 1 million new jobs this year. The onus of job creation responsibility should not fall on the president’s shoulders. How any president would be made to be responsible for creating jobs seems absurd in light of the fact that the president does not oversee any particular company that hires or provides manufacturing jobs. He can merely be an influence on those who do head up these companies. This is not in defense of our current president. Nor against him. The only person or person or group of persons who can possibly make job creation promises are people who own companies that provide jobs. Those individuals are the only ones who can hire people.
